                    VYAGHRESWARAM is one of the village in Ambajipeta Mandal. The road distance between Vyaghreswaram & Ambajipeta is 8km. Vyaghreswaram is a historic place.
                     Vyaghreswaram is located in Ambajipeta Mandal in the East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, India. Pulletikurru&Vyaghreswaram is very near to the, District head quarters Kakinada.Konaseema is famous for its scenic greenery and vedic scholars.It is one of most fertile lands present in Coromandel Coast. The entire region is rich in Coconut trees, Mango groves, Cashew and paddy fields.

 A Story behind its name that is in ancient days, thousands of years ago a Brahmin is hunted by tiger from Pulletikurru to Vyagreswaram. And the Brahmin climbed on to the tree with shivering when the tiger was awaiting under the tree for him. The Brahmin prays for the God and started reading of Mantras and dropping the leaves on to the Tiger.After some time,surprisingly the tiger disappeared and a Shivalingam is seen by that brahmin.Immediately he get down and folding his hands and prays for Lord Shiva. After that the place where which the tiger starts the hunting is named as Puli (Tiger)Vetaku(for Hunting)Vuru(village) and by the years going it stands as Pulletikurru and the place where tiger was killed and Shivalingam is appeared ,that place is called as Vyagreswaram (vyagri(Tiger)+ Eswaram(Lord Shiva), We can see this historical place now also and can visit the temple of lord Shiva in Vyagreswaram . I proud to say that i was born in this historical place and my hearty namaskarams to Lord Shiva. Kotirudraksha Pooja is performed at times in this shiva temple
